And of the two we have in the squad who can take on and beat men, one is back in the physio’s room for the umpteenth time in the last four years, while the other was denied a move to a Premier League side so that we could refuse to even put him on our substitutes’ bench. Norwood gets one chance and hits the bar and in the scramble Earl could have toepoked it into the bottom corner but wanted to control it.
All very odd to watch as a game. Wimbledon are just smothering all space and when needed running through us to break up play.
A bit unlucky Huws' freekick didn't get flicked the other way I guess but apart from that we really need more from the wingbacks and front two to justify this formation. I'd take a CB off and crowd the midfield personally. They don't seem to be pressuring us enough up top to warrant the extra man when they are so deep and defensive otherwise |  |
