Seriously?

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leicestershire-52183888

I hope the speeding fine is massive because the 60 quid for breaking the C-19 rules is nowhere near enough. Two young kids in the car as well whilst doing 110mph.

Definitely up to something way more dodgy. Driving 240 miles and spaffing most of a tank of fuel to save £1 on bread? I refuse to believe anyone is THAT stupid.

Living near the A1 and being out in the garden yesterday I could hear all manner of ‘trips to the supermarket’ on 1000 Cc’s at around a ton

I may do one shop on one of my motorbikes soon...will have to be the one with panniers on though which is a shame as the other is lot more fun. Just got to work out which Supermarket has the best roads, I mean shortest route.

Bored at home combined with company car and company fuel card springs to mind, or as others have said something very different and maybe dodgy and that was the first thing he thought of on the spur of the moment.

240 miles of fuel > £1 saving on a loaf of bread.

I put a lot of thought into that and nearly did a graph and everything.

I reckon if they searched that car they've found something, probably using his kids as cover. That car was probably packed with gear, why else would you need a trip down to London quick, straight in and out with only a loaf of bread to show for it.

Ahh, but we dont know how many loaves of bread he was buying do we?

The car and boot could have been stacked full.
If there were say 50 loaves thereby saving 50 quid, that equals the petrol money plus an outing on the motorway for the kids thrown in, happy days.

Nah, he was definitely on a dodgy mission.
