Depends whther his latest comment was "I will be signing for West Brom". If so, it could be a bit of a clue

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

He'll need to be careful with randomised drug testing in place.

Although that might also explain some of our players' recent(ish) form...

He can control a ball, pass it, score goals and take pieces.

Not a chance he'll be joining a side that finished 11th in the third tier.

"a side that finished 11th in the third tier"

that really hasn't sunk in yet

He is too good for mid table League 1.

Won't be here next year, good luck to the lad.

Is he though? He's 27 and last season seems to be the anomaly in his career. A lower end Championship club may have a go but I'm 50/50 on him being here or not.

If not it will presumably be Oldham or Port Vale. Bad news for us

Free transfer - there will be a list of Championship clubs after him including anybody promoted from L1.

Me too, I can't see him going too high given the finances of the championship and the glut of players looking for new clubs.
I'd like him to sign here, he played well and was liked, he also liked it and seemed settled which is a novelty in his loan here/loan there career so far.

Would flourish in a decent championship side. Real quality. Everton parent club will help.

Would be a massive coup if we could sign him, which usually means we won't. Not a fake coup like Judge either.

I know that was then, but it could be again..

I don't think he is good enough to be a first team player for West Brom.
