Those of us who have watched rather too much CNN* over the last few weeks now know that the harp on the Irish passport faces the opposite direction to the Guinness logo, because the Irish Government couldn't breach Guinness' trademark.

*Every 15 minutes or so, I presume when there is an ad break in the USA, CNN cut to some filler like world weather, an odd man who shouted the words "CNN BUSINESS TRAVELLER" in a way which sounded a bit like he was Yoda with constipation, an explanation of why some watch or other was a famous and important watch**, or a feature about companies that are over 100 years old. Guinness featured in one of these, but such is the rapidity of repeats I saw it a few times a day.

**I'm not joking. This is a CNN mini-feature.
