On saying that last time we were in tier 2 the restaurant bit was only allowed 6 people from the same household. So regardless of bending the rule with 2 tables they are presumably outright breaking the rules

Tell them she took her lead from the government, much like millions of others. I imagine she'll at least have the decency to apologise, which gives her one up on the politicians she'll be interviewing. I asked the question to highlight the fact that our government has very low standards of holding it's ministers/advisors to account on issues of integrity.
