I'd be happy for Burley to take up some kind of role at the club, but not manager. He's been out of the game way too long to come back in and be a manager, imo. Maybe get him in alongside Lee O'Neill though to jointly run the football side of the club, overseeing the academy, scouting etc. and providing support to Kieron Dyer as he leads us on an unstoppable charge towards Champions League football. |  |

I love Burley and he's a hero of mine.
But it ended on a sour note last time, and I'd hate for he legacy to be tainted further.

Burley could do a better job than Lambert while blindfolded & tied in a straightjacket! The game on the field is pretty much the same, he might not have the right connections with agents, etc. The aim of the game is to score more goals than the opposition. Burley played & managed at a high level. Plus pair him with Dyer & Butcher. Christ why can't we give them until the end of this season??? |  | | |
