Even the staleness was redeemable. But once the relationship with fans had broken down, that was the end.

Yes it had gone stale... But that's surely because the owner had left it out of the wrapping...I I.e. Didn't give sufficient funds or guidance

Cardiff city on 09:49 - Feb 10 with 1143 views | Churchman | He had his time here. Good luck to the bloke. I was relieved when he went. Glad to see him go. That has nothing to do with the two apologies for ‘managers’ that replaced him or Dementor Evans.

I agree, Mick's time here had come to a natural end. The fact we replaced him with a berk, and another berk doesn't change that. I don't think there's a compelling case that MM specifically should be here still. What it does remind us however is the difference a competent manager can make to the fortunes of a side / club. Cardiff have got from 6 consecutive defeats to 4 unbeaten almost overnight.

Yep, the biggest issue was losing our TOP 5 goal scorers from the previous season when Hurst was in charge.

In a few month's Cardiff fans will see exactly what many of us told them.

Your last point is interesting, when Evans told fans BCWYWF, he was in effect saying we had a decent manager who was forced out by the fans and now look what we've ended up with - a couple of managers who were/are not up to the job. So Mr Evans - get rid and get a manager who will rescue us before it's too late

That isn’t true though At Millwall he left for the Ireland job with them flying high At Sunderland he was sacked as failing in the PL, having promoted them Wolves similar to the above, albeit with a spell keeping them in the PL but not kicking on He was also at those clubs for 4, 3 and 6 years respectively It was only here that what you illustrated happened, although again it was over a 6 year period. When he’d been here 18 months we hadn’t even started our playoff season

There seems to be 2 common factors here. Evans and the supporters.
Cardiff city on 11:14 - Feb 10 with 799 views | tractordownsouth | It's like the situation with Keane and Magilton. The parting of ways with Mick was probably the right decision, it's just that the subsequent appointments of Hurst and Lambert have understandably caused a lot of revisionism.

Cardiff city on 11:18 - Feb 10 with 783 views | RonFearonsHair | It’s somewhat galling that he is able to take a team to Rotherham and get a late winner when he was so satisfied to draw 0-0 at home to them when he was here.
