I wish we'd just make some clothing that doesn't look like 'football clothing', if that makes sense?

For instance, I wear baseball/trucker caps all the time, but there's never been a single one I'd wear from the ITFC shop.

I've always thought American sports teams are so much better at this than us - when you think how sports teams over there like the Yankees and the Raiders have become fashion brands in themselves.

Ralph Lauren even just teamed up with MLB to do a whole range of jackets etc. Can you imagine that happening here?!

An odd reply but I have always fancied a branded shower curtain.

TBF, a toilet seat with a club badge would also be great

Never be afraid to share your thoughts.

If I was to wear Ipswich clothing it would need to be discreet and comfortable. Our badge is ugly when it comes to clothing. Strip it down to just the Suffolk Punch and reduce it in size. The All Saints hoodie that my wife got me (wearing now) has a 1cm by 2cm stitched logo in a slightly darker grey than the rest of it and that doesn't annoy me / put me off wearing it. I'd consider similar profile stuff if the club put it out.

Too often sports brands use low quality material and keep the prices high. I'm just not interested in paying over the top for low quality items with the club branding on it. I'm not a kid, I have a multitude of options and my life isn't football. If the club wants to tap into a wider audience, they need to recognise that.

Again, apply that to other stuff. You want me to buy a notepad? Make it look professional. You want people to actually buy stuff? Do some consultation with people who don't buy from the club shop currently, so you know why.

One of the attractions of the Ed Sheeran sponsored shirt actually looks good. You can see a design team has been on it. I'd say it would look even better without "tour" on it. I'm not going to buy a top with some massive logo facilitating gambling addictions. Or some ****'s name which just looks weird.

You can pretty much guarantee that the shirt designs put out by the club with be half as good as the concept ones floating around last week.

So yeah, rant over. More minimalist stuff and less stuff for adults that actually appeals more to a 10 year old.

I get why some people would be embarrassed about wearing Ipswich merch given the football, but come on, discreet merch? What would be the point in that? If you feel your too old to wear football gear, fine, but asking for the club to print discreet, behind clothes doors, stuff because your scared of what a mate down the pub might say about it well I think you need to grow up a bit and take it on the chin that you like a football club.

The owners are adults, and multi-millionaires, and are still buying and repping as much of the gear as they can. Football is meant to be fun, and they actually get that!

I actually agree with that

years ago I had a light blue t-shirt in a airtex type material with a crest embossed onto it

was very discreet

Long sleeved shirts - especially for the retro Copa shirts. But it’ll great if Adidas manufacturers long sleeves.

It's not about being embarrassed, it's about basic branding concepts. You don't have to get rid of the garish stuff. But if you want me to part with my money, use the branding in a more subtle way for a different line and aesthetic. Clothing brands give people both options, but We don't.

It's not about your mate taking the mick out of it, it's that it looks crap. The same reason I don't buy sweatshirts with GAP written all the way across the front in massive, white letters, but I wouldn't mind buying a sweatshirt FROM Gap.

There's obviously two markets here - the ones who want their clothing to SHOUT Ipswich Town, and the ones who want it more subtle, so why not cater to both?
