Paul Cooks post match interview 19:36 - May 1 with 2759 views | ArnieM | Said a few things obviously..... then this “I'm just pleased for the lads because this group pf people now have been burdened for too long. Like I told them before the game, in a week's time all those burdens and shackles will come away. "I'll make everyone at the club happy. People who don't want to be in Ipswich Town's dressing room will not stay another day at the football club.“ So who do you think he’s referring too ? And does this mean the players in that starting line up will be here next season?

Paul Cooks post match interview on 19:43 - May 1 with 2660 views | 3_5_2 | Its strange that so many loans are still involved, none of which he brought in I can see at least one new, main GK KVY, Wolfe, Kenny (back up?) Dobra, Doz, Downes, Norwood Not sure about Bishop. Possibly Hawkins and Parrot? The rest are gone on my view

No, I think it just means there are players here who just don't want to be, could be personal reasons, family, money etc Parrott, for all we know he might hate it, harrop, bennetts as loanees they've been stuck here. Then our own players, Edwards, Downes even,if you think about how he wanted to leave last summer

Is it strange? Or does he want a complete clear out of players he doesn't respect and doesn't want injuries to players who are out of contract. Playing the loanees works for everyone is that is the case. They get football, their clubs get to see them playing and we minimise the risk of disruptive influences being here next season.

Bishop can only really play the number 10 role in PC’s formation. I don’t think that he does enough so I reckon he’ll be gone. The 3 behind the striker is our weakest area on the pitch imo.

I’ve come to that same conclusion listening to PC post match interview . And it may not be as many players as I thought initially , that are causing all the problems. Mind you , that doesn’t detract from the fact that this squad has been woeful for nigh on three years now .

If we keep the likes of Hawkins, we may as well give up next season now. Oops, this was a reply to 3_5_2s post [Post edited 2 May 2021 7:21]

In the Mick seasons, at least for away games, they would celebrate wins with the fans. The Chambers fist pump and run up etc. Obviously with no fans there, or wins lol, it's hard to compare them.

Paul Cooks post match interview on 09:03 - May 2 with 983 views | StokieBlue | That reads more like the players who played are staying and the loans are placeholders for new players because the existing players on the books which he can play there are the problem. I would say it's often pointless to read too much into comments directly after a game. SB
