A mural had been planned for the glass at the back of the Cobbold Stand, featuring ex-players etc if I remember rightly. Would have happened prior to the pandemic but think it'll happen this summer now.

Is it still going ahead Phil? Cheque signed etc?
Wondered if it was an Evans plan that may get revisited if it was all signed and paid in full before Covid, I'm not sure what prevented it happening.
I'll never understand why digital advertising boards even get a mention from fans!!

Think just staff not working from Portman Road and pretty much everything being put on hold put paid to it last summer. Has been mentioned to me in the last few weeks as something that will probably be done over the summer. Think there'll be a number of relatively cosmetic things done so Portman Road will look different when fans return next season.

Fair enough, I just assumed that it would be installed by an external company rather than 'Big' Dave and Helen from the PR Department/
