Biden seems to have learnt a lot of lessons from the Obama era and is on track to be a better President. When Obama had the trifecta in his first two years of office, he didn't really do enough with the power he had, which was a factor in the Republican gains in both midterms. What Biden proposes will have to be moderated due to the arithmetic in the Senate, but if he gets most of it through that would be largely positive. He seems to be the blueprint of the 'campaign as a moderate, govern from the left' model. |  |

No the poster is right , Biden in a recent speech stated that "anyone earning 400k or less would not pay a single penny in tax". There are plenty of clips on Youtube of this speech. Obviously it was a gaffe and he clearly meant to say will pay *no more* as not taxing anyone earning less than 400k makes absolutely no sense at all. | | | |

The Republicans in the Senate are deliberately obstructing most legislation eg. Jan 6th Commision.
In the 2010 Midterms they scuppered Obama by making gains in the house and senate and that's their plan this time. They will claim that Biden made promises but didn't keep them but in reality it will be the Republicans in the Senate that voted down his bills.
The Republicans won't win the Presidency again but will always ensure that a Democrat president can't pass any bills without their backing.
I think America will start to stagnate if this continues as the norm. |  |
