Wow, is all I can say, how much of a breath of fresh air is this kid? It's been years since we've had someone willing to have a go, take someone on, have the guts to not just get the ball and not just pass it conservatively to the nearest man.

Really, really impressed with him, and even accounting for all the signings, ironically he's the one that has impressed me the most, love having someone like him playing with no fear, especially now we live in an era where we seem to have lost the art of dribbling.

Appreciate he still has some bits to work on, he does get a little over excited when he's near on goal and sometimes just needs to look up and square it across when the angle is tight.

But, we have a real player on our hands here, reminds me of a quicker Reuser, lets hope he doesn't get banished to the 23's as he has shown he has more than enough in his locker to compete at this level.

It's exactly why I said he would end up going to Arsenal for £5 Mill with major add ons.

He's going places Dobs.

Never be afraid to share your thoughts.

If he carries on this trajectory then we will be lucky to have him for a season.

If he ends up being behind Barry this season, I will be really disappointed.

For all his undeniable talent, and being exciting to watch , his actual productivity in terms of goals scored and assists show that he is far from the finished article. Hopefully he can progress here playing with the better players we have now.

We're lucky he managed to get himself out of the bomb squad. Lord knows why he was in it.

It was one of the reasons why Cook was prepared to let him go. Look, it's great he's managed to work his way back in to Cook's plan, but lets be honest, it's all well and good beating 3 or 4 men, but if your final ball in to the box or your finishing is cr*p, it's all for nothing.

I really think he needs to get out to League 1 or 2, and have a full season of 30+ games where he can really showcase his talent. IMO, he doesn't get a look in ahead of Fraser, Chaplin, Edwards, Burns & Barry clearly isn't here to be sat on the bench all season.

We're already out of 1 Cup competition, so he's really only got the Pizza Trophy and FA Cup, unless we have a massive injury crisis. Get the lad out on loan and get him some games and he will be a hell of a lot better for it.

I agree with this. His final ball at times is questionable and he needs to add more composure to his finishing. Hopefully, this will come with more game time, but he has shown that he offers that bit of excitement and something a little different that gets fans off their seats which is very stirring.

From watching him, I'm not convinced the lack of definite end product is going to go on for very long. It's not like with Bennetts where he's constantly making bad decisions and punting the ball into the stands. He's forcing saves, setting up shots and crossing opportunities for others, going past defenders, getting fouled in good positions etc. Eventually that's going to turn into concrete contributions.

Have to agree with this. Even if he isn't scoring or assisting he is getting the ball into dangerous areas, winning us set pieces and creating momentum.

I do think he needs to play regularly though so if Cook doesn't fancy him we need to get him somewhere ASAP until January and then review it from there.
