From the angle I saw it, press were on the other side from the cameras, he did go to head it but pulled out as it didn't bounce on towards goal as he expected. |  | | |

It was that initial bounce Phil, after he lobbed the keeper the ball bounced up it was the perfect height for him to nod it in, that was a game changer moment. I just wonder what he was thinking allowing it to drop? | |

Perfect height, but I think it 'stopped', didn't bounce on as much as he thought. As I say, from my angle it looked as if he was about to head it in and changed his mind because of the bounce. In fact, if you look at it, he ends up going past the ball, which was why it was then so awkward to turn it in with his foot.

Not seeing any attempt to head it. He seemed to overrun the ball and tried to sidefoot the ball. If he had stood on the ball the goalkeeper would have knocked it in.The first mistake was not to head it and the second was to try and kick it in. If he had used any other part of his body it would have been a goal. Cant be helped so he (and us ) need to move on and start winning games. |  | | |
