Yet we will have moaned had Cook played reserves/kids for both games .

What an awful last couple of minutes.
Luke Hyam's nailing this in some of his comments - looked like players thrown together with no consideration for how they work as a unit at the end of that half. It's so frustrating, as individually we're way ahead on individual quality.

True. I suspect we intend to sell him in January and the thinking was to give him some pitch time with that in mind. Not sure what that tells anyone that they don't already know, though.

Yeah, I think if you were considering Kenlock as a signing then his 21 league appearances last season would surely figure more in your calculations than a few minutes in the pizza cup.
It's a bit weird we didn't offload him in the Summer and didn't settle his contract during the season really. He was far from the worst player in a mid-table L1 team, so why we couldn't find him a club a bit lower down baffles me really. | |
