Perhaps they want to sell more of these 3 game tickets for £45. If Sunderland sells out to day trippers they won’t be able to sell any of the bundles innit.

Indeed. And the game's almost a month away, I dunno why the OP's panicking.

Still begs the question as to why they weren’t all on the system in the first place. Annoyingly, I can’t even make it, I’m away that weekend.

But we're expressly aiming for over 28,000. They cannot surely have been unprepared for that possibility. The tiered benefits for ST holders include a threshold of over 28,000 sold for the highest level of benefit. I find this odd.

I don’t understand what load more in the system actually means. Surely a seat, say, high up in the West Stand that rarely sells, isn’t that always in the system? Isn’t every seat?

I suspect not. Given the ground is usually two third full I imagine they try to fill certain areas and keep certain areas empty rather than having people dotted around all over the place. It makes it easier in terms of stewarding and suchlike if certain areas are well populated and others empty rather than having people spread out.

When we last changed ticketing system it looks as if we didn’t put on the system seats that we didn’t expect to sell.
