So were we under Lambert at one point. Let's see where they are in May before we start getting too worked up I would suggest. They've done well, and without the depth of pockets that Cook was allowed too, but it's a bit premature to be too regretful. | |

Its more of an TWTD joke really.
I was very vocal about the Cowleys last season, very UNvocal about Cook and was gutted they went to Pompey.
But yeah, hardly set the world alight there.

It’s all pretty random isn’t it?
As someone else pointed out, very few of the managers mentioned have the same pedigree as Paul Cook pre-Ipswich. It’s almost as if the focus on the manager (and by extension just getting lucky) means we don’t actually have to run the club like a professional environment. |  |
