I start with the same word each time and has served me well.

Yeah I usually start with tears or something which has A, E plus a few common consonants in it. |  | | |

Yeah been doing it for a while
2 good starting words are IRATE and if that draws a blank SOUND - those two cover the vowels and most commonly used letters.
The double letters can be tricky but it's highly addictive.
