Peter Bone using 'lefty lawyers' term 10:22 - Jun 14 with 1417 viewsunstableblue

We're starting to see the Daily Mail and conservative MPs and talking heads use 'lefty' more and more in a derogative and over zealous way:

Combine with GB News and growing outlets... and those to the left of politics being equally polarising and misunderstanding white working calls view points... and as we move away from centrist european influence.... it is a dangerous trend.. and ends up in a quasi US politics state

British people need to start pushing back on this

Obviously Bone has really outed himself as nutcase, because the Rwanda policy is just dark and also so ill informed.

This is a must watch from Yvette Cooper:

I was saying on a thread yesterday, this is not about Rwanda, this is political about putting the "left" in what they think is in direct opposition to the country's wishes to control immigration.

They knew the Rwanda policy would fail. Civil servants and lawyers advised them it was illegal but they pushed on anyway with the aim of doing exactly what Bone is doing here.

The refugees are just a pawn in the game.

Bone, Desmond Swayne and co used to the village idiots of the Tory party but the likes of Lee Anderson and Tom Hunt coming into parliament in 2019 has meant their views are now representative of the median Tory MP. What a shower.

It's almost as if the colour of skin is at play here in determining 'good' vs 'bad' refugees.

Some might suggest that the money being wasted on this whole Rwanda nonsense might be better spent on more staff to process claims - though I accept that would not play so well, in the UK fighting back against naughty 'furriners' projection.

Much as with the NI protocol, where the bloated bullshtter told the gormless that he could solve the previous impasse .......by lying. So we know have a situation that is being pushed as the plucky UK v the bullying EU.

And I suspect the possibility of the unions taking industrial action v the railways is being caused by this government, to act as some kind of rallying point for the bigots and the hard of thinking.

Did it not occur to the habitually dim, Truss, that having UK citizens fighting in Ukraine could lead to them being used as bargaining chops. Not in Feb it didn't, as she now performs another Johnson style u-turm.

There is nothing here, anymore. The ludicrous shte that was the Tory manifesto has been all but dropped as none of it was ever possible, or even intended. Instead, we have constant series of idiotic proposals, intended to fire up the incompetent idiots disappearing support.

Poor people .... let them eat venison

Damn those lawyers, using facts, laws and legal correctness to articulate their point.

Morality will be next, and then where will we be?

The lefty/woke scare is one of the UK’s worst blind spots – and as delusional and non-reality based as the US view on guns.

The left wants a better, fairer society. The left hasn’t been in power for over 40 years. But what’s the ever-present danger facing the UK? The left ...

The right and increasingly the so-called centre are radicalised weirdos, who should start taking responsibility for the state of the nation for once.

Sounds and looks half cut. On expenses from our taxes no doubt.

And, in case someone is any doubt, that is Bone and not Cooper who sounded and looked very reasoned and sober.

Amen to this.

The fact that 'the left' is demonised as some kind of all encompassing bogeyman, responsible for all our ills, is a remarkable feat of our media and political class.

And I say that as someone who's views are far closer to the centre than yours.

He attended Commons sittings on more days than Commons sat?

So, he lied about when he was there?
