I'd understand their stance if the rest of their output was "Hey! Look at this cute gif of a small piglet having fun in the rain!", but the rest of their posts are also just slightly more detailed looks at the weather.
Nobody (but nobody) is going to pile in on the Met Office for providing a mid-afternoon update on the rain that they forecast that morning.

I have just been outside and can confirm weather is still happening.
Not as I would like as I've just done some laundry in anticipation of a few hours outdoor drying time and felt a bit silly putting the washing line up as it started to rain. [Post edited 9 Sep 2022 13:41]

You took the BANTER approach to the fact a load of our Norwegian supporters, many I know personally, have flown over to an unneeded game cancellation. Is this really or funny appropriate at a time when lost financial costs are affecting us all worse than usual? To have games cancelled out of "respect" for someone who never had such financial concerns in their lifetime?

Quite, because there's a lot more to most people's reactions, I think, than the Queen's death as a single event, significant as that is to most considering she's been around pretty much all of our lives.
It comes at a time when we're in post Covid crisis, NHS crisis, Brexit crisis, cost of living crisis, an evil right-wing govt. that's increasingly taking measures to lead us into being a fascist state, and above all an environment crisis that almost every month now is throwing up "weather events" around the world that show we're all in a very perilous state. The seemingly ever-present bastion of stability now going is making us all feel particularly fragile & instinctively more adrenalised, I feel.
