I like him. But he looked like he had lead in his boots when Morsy passed the ball.

Hacked off he didn’t get the penalty? Hope he’s not that petulant but there’s a bit of history from Rotherham.

Indeed - as the commentary said he’d just made a couple of big runs. As others have said though looked very slow, very unlike him.

No Town fan has ever used that phrase and Freddie Ladapo in the same sentence.

Oh I agree, I was surprised by his lack of speed and movement tonight but to suggest it was because he didn't get the penalty... The guy has shown no hint of being unhappy in 14 other games.

Definitely - and he’s spoken about very positively but everyone at the club. It is indeed a big leap but personally thought how lethargic he looked as an impact sub, I’ve been really impressed with his work rate up to now.

I think he's a better starter than a sub.

Is he actually absolute poop though? I was really surprised at the lack of impact he had compared to The Cat. I thought Ladapo would help us up the pitch, but as said seemed off the pace and at one stage was waving his arms around in frustration. Something was off there for me...but McK will sort it out!

Arnie, for a sub coming on and the team defending the 1-0 lead. That must go down as one of the most pathetic performances from Ledapo. Lack of running and energy, I would have subbed a sub after that performance. Does make you wonder dies he want to play for Ipswich

Better give McKenna a call in the morning and let him know. He obviously hasn’t noticed from watching him training and in the games so far.

He’s not filling me with confidence tbh . I know he does a lot of other good stuff for the team, but we needed ( Dare I say this), Bonne TYPE of player to chase everything down. Not sure what the Burton striker we brought in is like , or when he’s ever going to be fit. But I do seriously wonder if we need to bring another striker in in Jan to help push for promotion.

Agree with this, seems to struggle to get into the game when ever he comes on.. Rotherham tag of him being "lazy" has some truth i think, though his strength is back to goal bringing others into play..

He was a really poor sub tonight and didn’t feel like a fresh pair of legs. Anyway we won and I’m like a pig in sh!t.

He was very frustrating when he came on sub at Wednesday as well… we were in control til that point I that game then when he came on , we had no out ball cos he didn’t chase anything. I think he has goals in him , but he hasn’t shown it for us consistently yet.

I think he’s been the biggest disappointment so far in a very positive season. So much positivity around that when something isn’t quite right people try and defend it. Of course there is always opportunity to turn things around but I’ve seen nothing from him that suggests he should be our no9. I think this will be the one area we look at in January most.

He was only ever brought as back up, and for that he would be very decent, most games this season he has looked very good but lacking that killer finish. I would imagine we would be looking at this area in Jan for a quality loan or buy.

Run Freddi FFS (n/t) on 08:53 - Oct 22 with 1010 views | Mullet | Got that all wrong, same as Donacien and Burns in the first half etc. Think he wanted something to feet. Also when he did press there was a time where he had noone in 10-20 yards and was waving at his teammates to get forward. Had we not lost last week, we'd have been far less nervy. Think we gave Derby far too much respect as a month ago when we were flying we'd have been way out in front. Lovely bit of play for the goal, Jackson was unlucky and Burns ruthless.
