League and FA Cup are the only competitions that should ever matter in our season.
It helped get players a few games, but now the injuries have stacked up I'm quite happy we are out.
We have to get out of this league and solely focus on that. Even a Wembley final as nice a day out it could have been could have been a very welcome distraction to the league games either side of that fixture. |  |

Yeah a bit. Call me old fashioned, but it would have been nice to win a cup and the FA Cup is highly unlikely. Tin pot cup maybe, but that’s the level we’re competitive at now. |  |

The manner of the loss worries me. The sloppiness from a couple, and the complete ineffectiveness from the same ineffective player pisses me off, it’s been there and evident as a striker for years.
I wanted a day out at Wembley. Would have been great for the club.
Fact of the matter is we don’t have the depth and quality we seem to think we have.

It's disappointing that we are out, but not the end of the world. However, it worries me how we have this inability to work the opposition keepers. They don't generally have to play a great game to keep their sides in the contest - league game or otherwise - another case in point last night. | |

Not in the slightest bit bothered, any cup competition that has U23 sides in it is tin pot to say the least. I've said as much the whole way through. The only disappointment from last night is the injury to Harness.
For me it's all about the league and FA Cup, I would love a run in that.
