Who do we get rid of then this window and why?
Hladky - expensive and needs to be a #1 lower down somewhere with the 3rd choice signing a deal it's possible
Ndaba - feels like he's missed his final season to get back on track with injuries etc and it's hard to see him jumping into a Championship defence next year
Ahadme - give him back to Burton for free until the summer and hope he takes points off other teams to help us out?
Penney - surely it's best for him and Motherwell to make a deal happen there?

Issue with Hladky going is we brought in Coleman as we thought we lacked depth, goalkeeping wise. So if we sell or loan Hladky out someone will surely come in to replace him?

Given there's no pressing need to get rid of anybody, I'd hang on to Hladky. Decent backup we'd want if anything happened to Walton, plus we're still in the FA Cup.
Probably also Ahadme, don't think he's really had enough time to make much of an impression.
With Davis and Leigh, Penney is surplus to requirements and has a good home to go to. Ndaba I'd leave at Burton for another half season to see how he goes. |  |

hladky is a good no.2, i'd keep him if we could, but it's probably in his best interests to move on
ndaba, too soon to say, might as well leave him there and see if he gets more games now he's fit. maybe worth a discussion with burton and send him elsewhere if they're not keen

edwards might be worth a loan out with more competition for the advanced roles and jackson impressing at wing back. it's a judgement call on whether he'll progress better here or on loan, hasn't seemed to help harper. | |

No chance Edwards goes for me. He brings a lot to this team off the bench even if the end product is often a touch lacking. He's quite a unique player. We have nobody else that direct or tricky and with 5 subs I suspect he will feature plenty before the end of the season.
Appreciate we have an embarrassment of riches compared to most clubs at this level but people forget a couple of injuries in forwards areas impacted us a few weeks ago. We suddenly didn't have the firepower off the bench that had served us so well in the early part of the season. | | | |

Penney is a no brainer, sell him to the highest bidder.
Harper maybe, depending on the terms of his deal. If there’s any players like that where there’s a top up payment on promotion we would be better off getting rid now in case we go up.
I would keep Ahadme around, get him minutes in the u23’s. Unless Burton want him then a loan would make sense.

Ahadme has been back in training for a while now so the coaching staff will have a better idea of whether he has the potential to be integrated into the style of play or not. If he does then unless we need the slot for another signing I'd keep him here. Going off to play a completely different style just for match minutes won't help his development. | |

With the inability to bring in another GK after the window, i’d want to keep Hldaky as he was for Salford a very good GK and believe voted best in L2.

I'm not getting rid of anyone this window. Penney is the obvious question mark, should Motherwell not be able to sort something. which I believe they are trying to do. So maybe move him on if he ends up back here.
Leave the loanees Baggot, Ndaba, El Miz, Harper ,where they are, if possible.
Rather have a bloated squad for the remainder of the season, than be short on bodies again. So I'd just keep the existing fringe players here for now.
Surely Ball and Camara will be omitted from the squad due to the seriousness of their injuries?

KM bigging up the importance of a 3rd keeper. So be surprised if Hladky, 2nd choice, goes anywhere. He clearly likes 3 keepers in the building.
Think we know KM likes a smallish group to work with. But that backfired a bit with all our injuries/illness through December. And also the tail end of last season. So I can see us with a fuller squad depth for the remainder of the season. If the top 3-4 clubs are to be going hammer and tong in the promotion race. Then the more legs we've got, the better.
