Remember the time when it was exactly what we could *not* do? Wasn’t so long ago. How things have changed - and how quickly :)

Wish we had a manager who’d sort this out.

Yeah, if we don't buy a 20 goal striker, we'll never get anywhere.

Credit to Charlie Turnbull who leads on that from the coaching perspective and the players who have taken the coaching on board.

A very different test. We’ve just had 4 good wins against teams in the bottom six. You’d expect that for a team challenging, yet I think some people are getting a bit carried away again (with the inevitable reverse flounces incoming when/if we do drop points against some of the better teams in our remaining matches).

Yeah, our inability to come out with 3 points in tight games is something that hurts us.

However, going into this game with confidence must help.

Be interesting to see if Bolton press or sit off us. The last few games, we look a lot more confident at playing through the press. Luongo is a massive part of that, finds space forward. Really noticeable last night how few sideways passes we made. And yes, we probably lost the ball more in the midfield through that braver ball, but we found so much space.

We've added unpredictability haven't we, and it will undermine the organisation of teams who will settle in with the mission to defend against a slick, ground passing Ipswich for 90 minutes. Love it. Those early balls dinked over or through for Jackson and Ladapo were great.

Thought Chaplin was outstanding in tight spaces yesterday, taking the ball on the half turn and finding space. Janoi looked like he'd really benefited from a rest, back to his marauding best, and jackson was great down that side too.

Interesting that we were back to being very one sided in attack. May have been because of the success of that approach, or it may be that Davis was playing a bit within himself due to the injury.

Chaplin, Davis, Broadhead and Edwards have all scored direct from a free kick this season. Some seasons we've gone the whole 46 games without scoring one. Excellent return for us. The ability to score from set pieces has been possibly our biggest area of improvement this season.
