Good 3 pts from us but honestly thought they looked really poor. I dont know if they have a number of injuries or more injuries than other teams but they offered very little. Apart from one moment just before half time they offered nothing in attack. I was expecting them to press us and make it more of a in your face battle like bolton without their quality.

As for coleman's comments he just looks like a bitter idiot, that was a blatant red for denying a clear goalscoring opportunity and he felt hard done by cos the ref clamped down on there time wasting and cheating tactics, shows beyond that they are just poor

I thought they were actually OK from a perspective of harrying, keeping tight to Broady and Chappers for example - it left them open to the longer out ball to Jackson though.

They were limited up top but were actually really pressing well.

I would say they were the poorest "team" we have seen although there were lots of good individual performances from them, but just so disjointed.
Not sure the keeper deserved red as there was lots to do for Clarke to make it a DOGSO.
Overall no competition though and a chance for fringe players to get a run out.
Team chemistry seems to be really good at the moment.
Would like to know what the update on Aluko and Edmondson is.

I thought they competed well, lacked quality going forward.

I see where Coleman was coming from on the red card. No way is that a clear goal scoring opportunity. At best, Clarke catches that just before the goal line, but in all likelihood, it goes out of play. Its a yellow, for a late tackle, that's all. As for the rest of his complaints, think that was just frustration. The ref was awful for the whole game, but I wouldn't say biased, but I'd imagine if you were on the losing side, you would see all the injustices a bit more.

Clarke caught the ball and chipped it over the kerper. Keeper took him out which prevented the goalscoring opportunity

Thought it was a strange performance from them because they seriously lacked quality but both their two forward players, Mancini and Pressley, put in solid displays and looked a threat at times.

They're missing a fair few to injury and McConville being suspended helped.

Definitely not a red. Stonewall yellow as the ball is so far ahead of Clarke at point of contact.

Wouldn’t go that far.

Whilst they were not very good both Morecombe and Forest Green were worse than that!

They were so naïve at times and with all their in-house fighting you can tell all isn't well.

For there to be a goalscoring opportunity, Clarke would have needed to have got to the ball... he'd overhit it was going out and wide. Even if he gets to it,he's probably going to have to cut back and players might get back. I think its massively harsh.

At the time I was sure it was a red card, and having looked at the highlights I still think it was a clear red.

If the keeper doesn't bring him down all he has to do is slot the ball away.

Not that it is a big deal for us to be honest, just the one extra goal though it was a good free kick and we Edwards may have scored it even with their top man in goal. A bigger deal for Accy obviously as they will miss him for a few games. Depending on who he he out against it may have been better for us if he hadn't been sent off.

There’s been worse teams than them at PR this season.

Accrington have been in decent form, only lost 1 in 5 and 14th in the form table.

Perhaps we made them look poor? I think it's really starting to click with Luongo and Morsy in the centre and with Broadhead and Chaplin as the 10's. We look very threatening with that core and then the wing backs/full backs bombing on.

I dont agree i think its a clear red as the keeper is determined to get outside his area to commit the foul so as not to concede a penalty .

They weren’t the worst relegation scrappers we’ve played at Portman Road. If I had to rank them from best to worst it would probably be this.

Cheltenham (well clear considering they were the only ones to get a result)
Burton
Cambridge
Accrington
Forest Green
MK Dons
Morecambe

Not for me.

Clarke poked the ball so hard under him it was rolling out, even if he did get there its not a "clear" goal scoring opportunity. Like you say though, it doesn't matter.

I thought they actually looked OK on the whole. Not a lot of quality but there was an obvious game plan there and they had some nice play when they got to our box, they just couldn't properly unlock us. Certainly were not the worst I've seen.
