I don’t think they were very good, ran around quickly but with no quality at all, we flattered them massively in that first half tbh, because we were pi55 poor, lazy is what we were and them scoring probably helped us, there just weren’t any signs of us changing gear, until we were forced to. |  |

That was a game we could have easily lost or drawn earlier this season. Quality showed through at the end and another 3 points

They came to do a job and they did it very well. Really good defensively and to be fair to them their goal didn't come completely out of the blue, they had a few dangersous breaks before the one they scored from.
They were happy to just lump it forward though, not much quality there and I could see why their disciplinary record has been poor recently, they were quite rugged at times. |  |

If I was in their position, I’d have done exactly the same thing. They’ve seen other teams nick points off us during the season deploying those tactics and it almost guarantees that you don’t get hammered, so it’s tactically astute, but any team can sit in the edge of their own area and block for 90 minutes, it’s ugly football and I’m just glad we found a way through. I really do believe that the goal they scored actually didn’t help them, it forced us to up the gears. | |
