A blemish on an almost perfect day. But that’s the mentality of some people these days isn’t it, just never thought it would find it way into a football stadium for fellow fans celebrating our first promotion is over two decades. Certainly quite a few shocked comments from other teams on various videos out there. You know the type though, probably the same reporting those who were sitting in a park getting fresh air during lockdown.

I could understand if the fans outstayed their welcome on the pitch and they just couldn’t get it cleared for lap of honour etc but really wasn’t the case - everyone cleared it quickly once players had gone off
I thought the bigger issue was how many extra people were on the pitch for lap of honour - partners, kids, parents, siblings, mates, agents etc - would have preferred to see just the players doing it initially

I'm sure you were happy enough being on the pitch. I've no problem with it, I doubt many did in the grand scheme of things. Just enjoy the whole thing.

Two final comments from me.
We need to call out blatant hypocrisy.
As far as I am aware, I have never broken any law nor club rules. I have certainly not broken a rule or law when someone has repeatedly told me on a loud speaker not to do something, let alone when stewards and police have been deployed between me and said offence to stop me. This is not some inadvertent breaking of rules, it was premeditated, determined and required forceful effort to get past stewards and police.
