Not sure but Tina’s was the first concert held at PR from memory.
I make you right.
I went down with a tenner in my pocket hoping to get lucky with a tout. Think the tickets were like £25 but I got lucky...waited til the first song had finished and the tout realised it was my tenner or sfa
I think it's fair to say that she was not enjoying the most successful part of her career when a somewhat unlikely collaboration with the lads from Heaven 17 under their BEF project brought her back into the public eye and led to arguably her most successful period.

Always reminds me of my late mum when I hear her songs on the radio. Fond memories of car journeys as a kid, with my dad jostling to play his Irish folk music. Tina normally won out.
RIP Tina, a woman who brought a lot of joy to a lot of people.

I was a cheapskate and listened to it in Alderman Park behind the North Stand with a couple of cans. Was it the year before Bryan Adams was there?
I was sitting in The Racecource with my bunch of ne'er-do-wells and I kept banging on that we were sitting in the land that time forgot and that we should be at PR watching Tina.
Eventually I got through to them and we turned up about 2 thirds into it and gained free admission because the gates had opened by then.
Watched her from Cobbold away fans block.
Yeah, she was great baby.
