Fair play to Kieron, I didn't think he could do that good a scouse accent.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Tbh I thought he was up at chesterfield last season. He hasn’t been to see relatives who live next door to mine for absolutely months ( he’s usually there 2-3 times a week), do his absence was noticed shall we say. Unless he’s been having treatment :

Good luck to him. 👍

He was certainly on their bench during the play-off game vs Bromley and final.

Maybe it was only temporary and now it’s permanent.

Some time off from slagging off the club then.

He was indeed at Chesterfield for a while last season.

Good luck to him. Hope he can keep his his down and focus on what he is doing rather than what others are not doing for him in football.

A touch unnecessary don't you think? I know KD wears his heart on his sleeve when it comes to ITFC, but much of what he had to say simply echoed the general malaise at the time (before the current ownership and management were able to get to grips with the many issues).

I'm sure that KD would have been delighted with how last season turned out.

He slagged off the regime at the time, not the club that he loves.

Good luck to him there, does feel like his managerial dream is slipping away though.

I’m not sure Kieron has always made the best decisions in life and I’m sure he’s the first to admit that, but he loves this club and I wish him well.

And no, Cook isn’t all that bad. He was just the wrong fit for this club after the takeover took place. That’s down to Evans’ idiocy, not Cook whose record speaks for itself or Gamechanger.

He wants to get into management. Perhaps he thought by following Cook about there would be a vacancy he could step into sooner rather than later.

Don't forget the health issues - can't have helped at all.

Fair play to him for putting himself out there. A supporting role outside the 92 shows he's keen to make it work in some shape or form.

I'd say Dyer wants to learn from the manager who had won promotions.

Paul Cook isn't / wasn't a bad manager - he just wasn't the right manager for the task at hand.

Also, Cook was bought in to one culture and had to change that culture over night. Not easy for anyone.

Not easy but chalk and cheese compared to Mckenna in terms of identity, i.e. was never convinced the players were particularly well drilled under Cook but he obviously didn't have a huge amount of time with his group did he.

Obviously a decent guy. Reminds me of Jewell to some extent.
