I would struggle to justify predicting second.
I am always very sceptical of these things and think some of them are pieced together to drive maximum engagement from across the Championship fanbase. |  |

It's a strange rare occasion where the outside media/world are more optimistic than we are! I think it's gathering momentum and people want to look astute by predicting us to finish high.
In reality I see us 8-12th.

Yes agreed. NTT20 know their stuff and put the hours in but would say they put a lot of belief in data and statistics which will have us high up the charts while personally I am of the belief that while valid, one can easily become overdependent on stats and overlook the good old-fashioned 'eye-test'. | |

The other chap is in love with KM and had us 2nd.
Watched the pod yesterday and they disagreed but went with 2nd.
Anorher pod I watched with 3 really knowledgeable guys on on had us 8th 9th and 14th. [Post edited 4 Aug 2023 15:54]

Listening to the NTT20 version which had us 3rd, I wasn't terribly persuaded by their logic, which seemed to be simply that McKenna was an excellent coach and that in League One our underlying numbers had been outrageously good.
It felt like pretty weak tea when they'd put Leicester in 4th because they didn't fancy Winks and Coady as recruits and though Maresca's process might take time. |  |

Unless we get active in the transfer market I don't see it more so with the injuries need a back up keeper and a couple of quality outfield players, Hladky gets injured we got a lad who didn't get a game at Stockport last season. |  | | |
