All the ex prem and parachute clubs are going to be tough games, especially away from home. So in that respect, I'm no more or no less apprehensive about this one than I would have been, coming into the season..
The main thing is, this group won't roll over. We've got a cohesive team that will give their all. And an incredibly astute manager and coaching staff.
Can easily see this as another 4-4 like their nodge game.
I have confidence in us scoring goals. It will all depend on how well we can defend and whether or not Saints have their shooting boots on. The pressure is all on them to get a result, imo. Bit of a free hit for us.. |  | | |

I hate the term 'free hit', there's points to play for in every game and we should go there with confidence. After all it's Southampton we're talking about, not Man City. They've got undoubtedly some quality players and an expensively assembled squad, but any side capable of losing 5-0 to Sunderland clearly has frailties.
Having said all that, if we lose tomorrow we're still bettering 2ppg. That's not to say it wouldn't be disappointing, losing is always disappointing, but we need some perspective. The pressure is all on them, not us. |  | | |

I am nervous about it, just as I am every game. The win on Saturday plus the comeback against Cardiff means the pressure isn’t quite so much on this one. It feels a bit like Barnsley away after Peterborough in April, albeit in a higher division.
It’s going to be tough - they’re due a win and have good players, but we are in with a shout. I bet they’d have preferred a weaker side, put it that way. Whatever our side, I hope we continue to try and play the way McKenna wants. It’ll help as we get into the meat of the season, whatever the outcome. |  | | |

We’ve absolutely exceeded my expectations for starting this season. I’m feeling a lot more relaxed than last season. I was absolutely desperate to get out of that horrible league but was always worried someone would ‘do a Lincoln’ to us with Sheff Weds (and at one point Barnsley) breathing down our neck.
The thought of finishing mid table in the Championship is much more tolerable than another season of Fleetwood away. | | | |

Our away form is filthy. It's for that reason that I'm hopeful, if not expectant. They've got some really good players, but either way it should be a good game.

These are the games we should look forward to - a real challenge against a former PL side.
The gap in quality from L1 to Championship is big, and every side we play will have quality that can hurt us.
Let's be honest though, it far beats travelling to Cheltenham or Port Vale away on Tuesday night - these are the nights we want to be back in the Championship for.
