Those drippy fans weren't saying anything different to the manager. Tonight is great. It was a cracking game. But one game won't change Kms mind of where he would like to improve imo. But let's all just enjoy another fine win rather than pots at posters who agreed with the manager and ceo.

Lot of players out there tonight have given McKenna a headache on 22:22 - Sep 26 with 2409 views | StokieBlue | I don't think they have given him a headache, I think he's pretty much got his first 11 in mind when everyone is fit (with the possible exception of Hutchinson). What they have done is the opposite, they have made him feel comfortable that they can come in when needed and perform to a really high level and carry us forward. SB

Exactly SB. As I posted below. Evans was right, the fringe players get it and are as well drilled in what they need to do when on the pitch that KM can rotate pretty much as he sees fit. It's an ideal scenario. It further illustrates that whilst KM would have like 1 or 2 more over the summer - his approach to training, coaching and developing what he has has meant it's not the disaster transfer window many made it out to be.

Lot of players out there tonight have given McKenna a headache on 22:56 - Sep 26 with 2173 views | wischip | I don't want to call our 'fringe' players, fringe players anymore. Nor the B Team. Nor the Reserves, 2nd 11, backups, the Cup Team. It does them a dis-service. They're better than that. I just can't think of what to call them instead yet, because this feels different.

Ahh, but did McKenna and the CEO tell us that Burgess wasn’t good enough for the Championship before a ball was kicked? One or two posters on here did.

Depends who he's planning on replacing isn't it? He tried to get a new CB and then signed one.... Altho. Burgess could have changed his mind just like some of the fans..

Exactly. I posted this at the end of last season: Fringe players - not under KMac! by jasondozzell 30 Apr 2023 21:01We haven't really got any have we?!
The whole squad has contributed so much. One of the best examples of McKenna's management is the way he's kept everyone feeling involved and important.
Promotion is because of them as much as the brilliant first eleven that's emerged over last few months
I loved seeing Greg Leigh and KVY embracing and looking so happy in the dressing room celebrations. So many players like that who haven't played that much but have worked so hard and done brilliantly when called upon. Harness and his goals early on, the winner at Burton in a game we'd have lost before, Humphreys coming in and doing such a good job in his first proper season, Jackson bombing down wing in Burns position, his goal against Wed, Greg Leigh just being brilliant, Aluko a joy to watch, Keogh settling us against Morecambe at home during that difficult spell....
Leigh coming in at Derby for Leif and just immediately turning in a great performance says it all.
