Yes definitely a case where the statistics bear no relation to the game. They never looked like ever scoring, even in the last 10 minutes where we eased off a bit. |  | | |

What even the xG stats don't show is that we were ahead in that game for 90+ minutes which demonstrates its own kind of dominance.

Damned lies and statistics. Hull had 2 shots when we were 1-0 up, then one further shot before we made it 3-0.
They had 10 further shots at goal when were already 3-0 up, 7 of them after the 80th minute. Basically, we took our foot off the gas late on and they had a few pot shots. |  |
