Foxes the best team to visit PR I think 22:30 - Dec 26 with 2045 views | ArnieM | Ooozed pace and class throughout their side , but OMG did our lads stand up and be counted especially second half. Draw a fair result and it would be nice if we could hang onto 2nd spot . What a season we are having .

Foxes the best team to visit PR I think on 22:36 - Dec 26 with 1916 views | BloomBlue | Nah, first touch was very poor across the entire Leicester team. I didn't watch much prem football last season but that was league2 level of first touch and now makes me realise why they were relegated. If they keep that level up I don't think first in the championship is a given.

Foxes the best team to visit PR I think on 22:42 - Dec 26 with 1856 views | Chrisd | First half most definitely, at times they upped their tempo at will. Second half they didn’t control the game as well and if anything they allowed us back in. You can see why they are top of the league though. Some of their play in the first half was very impressive. I thought Leeds were good on Saturday, but at times the way Leicester played tonight they looked an all round better side than Leeds. Think they’ll be even tougher at their place in a few weeks.

Agreed.. However as for the game at their place. Half their team are off to Afcon so there won’t be Daka, Iheanacho, Ndidi, Fatawu and Soutter will be playing alongside Burgess for Australia. By my reckoning they’ll have Vardy & Cannon as their only recognised strikers. Vardy who is currently injured and Cannon who has just returned from injury. They’ll probably spend big on a striker in Jan now though

Even with the loss of those players they’ll still have a very decent side.

We fashioned some decent chances which on another day would have given us all three points. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I thought the back looked solid as their stats prove over the season- faes was great - other side also, their wingers were tracking back and blocking which shows how Much respect they gave us - I feel really positive going forwards - was it not for a better couple of cross field balls - or Chaplin playing through Jackson rather than trying a speculative then we could have won - if we can get broadhead or chappers firing again or back to last seasons clinical finishing then we will deffo end second

They're clearly a decent side, maybe a bit cautious but they have the quality on the break to get away with being cautious They concede very few goals and you can see why, they're very solid defensively and well disciplined I've no doubt they'll probably hammer us at their place but for me, Leeds are a better attacking side, Leicester are however far more solid defensively and better balanced as a whole which is why they are so clear of everybody else!

Foxes the best team to visit PR I think on 00:07 - Dec 27 with 1379 views | BigCommon | Looked at the starting line ups, they had Ndidi, Winks, Dewsbury Hall in MF.. Thats a decent Prem MF... We had Taylor and Morsy ( lately, luongo for Taylor).. I mean.... Kudos to our guys.... I honestly though we'd be completely overrun.. But al three CM's on our part , were immense tonight.. Thought Chappers, and Burgess were good, too.. Morsy, was just Morsy....

Sorry just one point. Faes was not and is not great. He's a mediocre centre back masquerading as a left back. For the brief time he was on the pitch a 20 year old loanee exposed him for what he is.

Vestergaard, like Morsy, is on 9 yellows, so if he can time his 10th to be in one of the 2 games before us, he'd be missing as well.

That's the 3rd time I've seen them this season and each time I come away thinking how the hell are they up there? They'll fall off in February. I'm sure of it.

He's not great but he is excellent at this level despite being off colour today. He has 11 caps for Belgium who though not as good as they were are still a top 10 rated nation which is more than Tomori or Guehi has for England despite CB being one of our weaker postions. I think he would be a starter in about 1/3 of Premier League clubs.
Foxes the best team to visit PR I think on 06:43 - Dec 27 with 931 views | rodney76 | They were a collection of brilliant individuals who were frequently capable of of putting together an impressive team move, which had pace. Otherwise, I thought they were, imo, looser than expected. Both teams gave the ball away a lot, but we got our team act together better in the second half and probably deserved a draw. They seemed casual and overconfident throughout. The fact that we didn't let them get away from us in the first half meant we were able to fight for that point. I think they had a very credible penalty turned down, however. [Post edited 27 Dec 2023 6:45]
