Perhaps there’s a concession that signing 1 let alone 2 strikers this window is an impossibility, through prices or availability, and we’ll stack up with more generic forwards instead and adapt how we play. Is there a striker available who is of the same calibre of player as Carvalho that we could get in on loan? It’s seeming increasingly unlikely I would say. Hull have a few lively players, you can see why they started the season well before we really turned the gears up on them
Their aim is still playoffs so you can't blame them for going for it. There's a lot of decent teams they need to pip to the post. | |
