The surprise was the suggestion that he might be back before the end of the season. It seems unlikely we will see him before May but we shall see.
It is also a good message for any striker we are after. You will get game time because Hirst isn't about to return and Ladapo has gone. I would imagine Gallagher will be kicking up a fuss if he isn't allowed to leave. |  |

I think that was pretty obvious tbf. You’d like to think that, if we were in the play-offs, he’d be in contention for the bench but anything much sooner with that injury is a long shot. | |
