Am I right in thinking this would be good for other reasons? Are there not "home grown" rules for the squad, meaning re-signing former academy players who are more good could be good for reasons other than embedding the local into the club? |  | | |

There are rules to that effect, but we’re probably fairly well covered with Woolfenden, Humphreys & Clarke already in the squad. If we wanted him just for that reason we could have kept Hayes on instead and saved a boatload of money. |  |
