There're loads of our fellow supporters throwing their toys out of the pram because McK has ambitions to manage one of the biggest clubs in he world... ...and we've known about those ambitions since he arrived.
So I think it is safe to say that there will be plenty of tantrums if McK goes to Brighton, a club which is a few years ahead of us in their development. |  |

With Chelsea, slightly less so.
With Brighton - no, sorry. No vicious ill-will but certainly goes down in my estimations and will feel like a slap in the face. He’d get a polite round of applause on his return and that’s it.
I like to think that he won’t go there - it just doesn’t make sense, and I truly think the town fans thinking it does are slightly kidding themselves. It’s a step up, but not by much, and if any other manager was doing this, there’d be a thread on here saying how we feel for his old team’s supporters. |  |

Lambert's stock was high just days after a 5-3 defeat at Lincoln and no wins in the previous 7 league games (plus a few cup defeats).
