You can imagine them on a first date:

‘Well, I lick the arse of incompetent people and debase myself in public doing do’.
‘Er… nice?”

Could you imagine the Tories getting just 66 seats? Granted, labour are hardly recognisable either as they are filling the gap in the center that most 'reasonable' tories used to occupy.

What is interesting to ponder if this poll comes close, is how many of those MPs will be the centrist back benchers and how many will be the Johnson era of staunch right groovy gangbangers.

Badenoch, Rees-Mogg and Mordaunt predicted to lose their seats in this poll.

Sunak holds on. Which is funny as he’ll resign straight away and they’ll lose the by-electon

That would be a wonderful outcome.

However, he will resign as leader and lurk, enjoying the salary, as an MP for several years, whilst barely showing his face.

I can just about get my head around the concept of 'there's decent money to made for making yourself look this f**king stupid in public'. It's the people who turn out on places like here to regurgitate such utter horsesh1t for free I don't get.

Imagine, just imagine, if the Tories do so badly that they are not even the 2nd largest party... not even the 'official opposition'...

He’s not going to be a backbencher MP with his wealth and with the purge on 2nd jobs.

Apparently Sunak is now trying to convince people that Starmer would ‘pander to the left’ if he got in because of the Abbott thing. Aye, because of course Starmer hasn’t been purging the left since day 1.

It’s hard to find words to describe how bad he is at this. Either he’s clueless and deluded or he thinks people are stupid enough to believe him.

66 seats would be the biggest disaster for a sitting government in British if not global democratic history. Apparently though according to Sunak deporting legal immigrants that do vital jobs (NHS anyone) and wasting 1/4 Billion £ on the Rwanda bill which he knew would fail is the indomitable will of The British People. That's The British People if you exclude to 95 + percent who are not far right. 66 seats would also be bad for people who are thoroughly against The Conservative Party. It is vital that we have a viable opposition in case someone like Corbyn becomes PM and implements his far left agenda.

The Tories are going to be soundly thrashed, partly dependent on how the Reform UK vote holds up. If they appear certain to be thrashed, some of the right wing might be happy to vote for Reform as the game is up. I doubt it will be as bad as the polls suggest, but they are likely to elect a right wing leader to replace Sunak, which will condemn them to 10 years or so in Opposition.
