Players and staff have these conversations all the time. I remember the uproar when the old GK coach under Lambert said similar about Downes being the engine room at West Ham in a couple years time whilst he was at Ipswich if he continued to progress.
Players want to be at the highest level, as would anyone if that's your ambition. If you work at BT with someone who used to work at Google and suddenly Google want to employ you, they'd probably talk up Google in the same way footballers talk up other experiences at clubs. |  |

I would argue the best thing he did for us was giving his all on the pitch and actually being pretty crucial albeit in the limited games he played. Case in point filling in for Morsy against Sunderland and hitting the ground running and helping us win there including the assist for Jackson equaliser.
So no. Deserves our respect. Was excellent when called upon. | |
