Hardly rolled over. 20 shots to their 2. Yes, they scored but it's not as though we lacked effort or application. We should have had enough on sheer quality alone but sport doesn't work like that every time.

For goodness sake, this is what the cup competitions are all about: low league teams maybe upsetting higher league teams. Anyway, we've had an horrendous cup record for years, but hey, also, we just got back to back promotions. I know what I put in first place

Well I'll let McK comment on the result... Yes the prem is all that matters but we've equally said the League cup was important in terms of giving players time...and we failed miserablely once again.
Sod it typical Ipswich things....looking forward to Phillips and Cajuste, Morsy ripping Fulham apart!
Just why why can't we do the same with the lower leagues?
