Did anyone watch "Nightsleeper" on BBC last night....? 14:49 - Sep 16 with 5085 views | Bloots | ...it was possibly the worst piece of television I have ever seen in my life. The acting was poor, the dialogue terrible and the plot absolutely preposterous. I found it strangely compelling and can't wait to watch the next episode tonight. I'm pathetic.

Did anyone watch "Nightsleeper" on BBC last night....? on 14:59 - Sep 16 with 4602 views | Ryorry | It did have one decent major twist, which is one more than most similar dramas. BBC4 had a "Happy Valley night" about 4 nights ago, which is available on catch-up. Now that really was a great drama series.

I do this often though with other dreadful dramas so I’m kind of used to it now. What is the plot exactly??. Went right over my head.

"Plot"? Don't make me larf. Atm looks like either standard fare ex-copper with a grudge and/or group of lefty/righty protesters out for publicity, and/or bunch of terrorists kind of thing, derivative of the film 'Speed'. Oh, and there's a useless Transport Minister in it who's worried about being sent viral on social media - which does at least introduce one element of reality into it.

Gotta fill the early autumn prime-time innit. I did think one good thing about it is its immediacy to recent corruption of antivirus software/hacking of infrastructure - wonder when it was written.

Is it worth watching Peaky Blinders? I got 3 episodes in and gave up. Joe Cole is decent in Gangs of London to be fair.

Peaky Blinders got better by the time they got to Mosley and the Fascists. About Series 5. Anyone tried 'Prison Break' on Netflix? Seen first series so quite enjoying it.

I watched about 10 mins of Peaky, couldn't stand it. It wasn't just the dark themes (have sat through worse) but the literal gloom it was filmed in - depressing & eye strain inducing!

I got hooked on 'Peaky Blinders' fairly quickly once I started watching (avoided it for years because I thought there would be graphic images of razor attacks, there aren't.) The Northern Irish barmaid may have had something to do with that though.
