Assume that’s the route most, if not all, will take tomorrow to get there?

Just read in the away fans guide that they discourage away fans using it after the game though, but if you do then have to use the queuing system in place for the home fans.

Aren’t there any pubs nearby to wait in to avoid queues?

If you can get to Gunnersbury on district line it's only a 10-15 minute walk and there are a couple of serviceable pubs en route.

They used to have one on every corner at Griffin Park. Did they not take them with them?

It's such a lovely area but that station is pretty tiny - two platforms and a footbridge ala Woodbridge, just a bit longer trains.

Or get off at Stratford & switch to London overground (Stratford to Richmond service)

Slow loop round to Stratford on the Overground, 50 minutes or so. It's quite a pleasant journey.

^listen to this man - he's right, it is a nice trip if you're in the mood to see various bits of London. We used to call it the "Magical Line" as it seems to go everywhere one could ever want.

Not going to rush out of the ground, as usual, anyway, so may just join the queues once we get there.

I wish more grounds did what Brighton do, keep the bars open at FT.

With the added bonus of West Ham playing at home on the Sunday so avoid that experience again.

I am tempted by the overground to Gunnersbury from Stratford to be honest...

Letting people in on secrets here. Plus it takes about an hour* from Waterloo to Brentford for some odd reason anyway.

*30 minutes but quite a slow train.

You could always go back towards the old ground, three of the four pubs are still there, and then get on at Brentford so you are ahead of the queues at Kew.
