I think that West Ham got awarded a penalty, not the other way round.

Certainly not a clear and obvious error so whether it should or shouldn't have been a penalty, VAR shouldn't have been overturning the on-field decision.

Can't see anything there that warrants a penalty at all thats a joke.

Kounate going right through and taking Martinelli legs away looks a clear pen to me, slightest touches of the ball but if you completely take the legs away of a player when the ball was still in his vicinity to play is surely a pen.

The application of VAR by officials is just horrifically bad

There is no world in which this should ever be given a penalty. It's a coming together in a contact sport. Two people missed the ball and collided with each other.
