Without Axel we've played 8 and lost 6 of them, picking up only 4 points.
Axel also played in harder fixtures. With Axel we've played the teams currently in 1st, 3rd, 5th, 6th and the opposition have an average position of 8.7. Without him we've only faced 2 top half sides (7th and 8th) and have an average position of 13.5.

Our hope would be that given the schedule, teams may be more likely to ease off once they establish a lead and save their legs a bit.

Today, ok we had injuries but felt like when we tried to go toe to toe with Leeds last season and got spanked. I think we need to learn to manage games better - more defensive midfield set up and try to counter some games. We are getting a little too predictable against the better playing teams who can press with not much worry of us countering. | | | |
