Made a few passes like that in the game and this one was definitely coming.. he isn't the only issue though, some very unusual decisions being made on passes and battles.

Worth noting that Hladky also played that ball all the time to Morsy and it went wrong an equal amount of times last season.
Difference is that Championship players have a habit of not punishing you, where as Premier League players......... |  |
