Balloons or not tomorrow? 17:48 - Feb 7 with 1763 views | Bobbychase | I'm against it on principle, smacks of "non league club on big day out" vibes BUT I know some people are planning to take inflatables tomorrow and in that case I think we all should as if only a few people do it, it looks even worse.

He's not talking about doing either by the sounds of it. If I wanted to play with inflatables I'd become an incel or take my kids to their friends' birthday parties myself. What's wrong with standing arms folded and scowling for 87 mins between shouting "blue army" for the rest of it? AMF

Balloons or not tomorrow? on 20:11 - Feb 7 with 1447 views | Jrm_72 | Its a no from me, but to each their own. Segway from this, went to a wrestling show a few years ago where the main heel (bad guy) was a short, angry, follically challenged chap called Paul Robinson. He was quite gargoylesque in his facade, and at the show the crowd of some 700 people had organised amongst themselves to pelt Robinson with balls of socks during his ring walk. To 'set him free' as it were. Possibly one of the funniests things I've ever seen in person.

Balloons or not tomorrow? on 20:26 - Feb 7 with 1383 views | PioneerBlue | Death to all fun and traditions at football. We are in the middle of a relegation battle everyone should dress in black. Let’s keep it nice and quiet in order that the players can focus too.

Balloons or not tomorrow? on 20:44 - Feb 7 with 1319 views | SE1blue | I’ve always felt like the FA Cup is the moment where supporters should have fun in football. And possibly even more so these days. Our game is increasingly being owned and dictated by faceless corporations, that I think fans should take the opportunity to make it about them in matches like these.

Balloons or not tomorrow? on 20:51 - Feb 7 with 1268 views | algy | I remember balloons being released at a 3rd round game at Ninian Park in the 80s. We had an open terrace behind the goal and the wind was blowing strong at us. Up went the balloons and straight over the fence behind us heading to the docks.
| I was there when McKenna's ITFC won in the Premier League at Home. Our only home win in a year. |

Balloons or not tomorrow? on 22:40 - Feb 7 with 1121 views | Garv | Don't understand the need to worry so much about what other fans think of you or your club, unless it's related to hooliganism or obvious poor behavior. Same reason I never fully understand why people get so irate about half and half scarves, who gives a fck? Inflatables and balloons in the away end of an FA cup game is fine.

Yep, they used to give them out on the travel club coaches. Can remember Southampton away in 1991. Absolutely packed away end, uncomfortably so. Until the teams came out and everyone let go of their balloons. Then it was fine. And then scenes when Jason Dozzell put us 1-0 up after about 12 minutes right in front of the away end.

And I still can't find footage anywhere of that goal. I'm absolutely sure I saw it on YouTube somewhere a few years ago.
