Of the 5 ‘winnables’, we’ve drawn with 3 of them this season. And of the other two, Bournemouth beat us in injury time and Palace won 1-0. So yeah I’d say they’d be winnable ties and harder than the Forest game tomorrow which we’d obviously have to have qualified from

But drawn with 3 and lost the other two narrowly. All being harder than the team we’d have beaten tomorrow to get there. If you don’t think someone like Fulham at home in an FA Cup quarter final is a winnable tie to get to Wembley, we all ought to give up hope.

In an FA Cup quarter final with a place at Wembley on the line, there’s not hope in hell McKenna wouldn’t play the first string. The same first string who Fulham for example have failed to beat twice already this season and we were the better team for the majority of the first game and some of the second game. It would be winnable and we’d have a chance

To be fair, every game is winnable.. we just won’t win.

That's alright - if a miracle happens, we'd have two away games then the semi final and final at Wembley.

I’m not getting carried away but I think we win the FA Cup on 19:45 - Mar 2 with 3208 views | BarcaBlue | I'm with you but Forest first (winnable) and then an easier trip to Brighton ( logically winnable).
I’m not getting carried away but I think we win the FA Cup on 19:46 - Mar 2 with 3175 views | Bluespeed225 | All the teams that are very competent and stable, Palace, Bournemouth, Fulham, 2 with aspirations of Europe, Man City, and an up for it Preston. We are the dead wood in this year’s competition. I’m feeling it. COYB!!
I’m not getting carried away but I think we win the FA Cup on 19:50 - Mar 2 with 3098 views | HighgateBlue | I really don't understand the logic here. Is the title of your message what you intended to say? You think we win the FA Cup if we beat Forest? Even to say it's likely that we win the Cup is ludicrous, but to say "we win" it is really bizarre. You can get 94/1 at Betfair for us to win the Cup at the moment, so presumably you'll have the mortgage on us... The likelihood of course is that we never find out, because we'll go out to Forest, but of course there's a chance we don't, and of course I'll be very much hoping that that we take that chance, and that my pessimism is proven wrong at Wembley. We can dream.
I’m not getting carried away but I think we win the FA Cup on 19:51 - Mar 2 with 3073 views | _clive_baker_ | Clearly we’re 8th favourite right now, only ahead of Preston. But you never know, not completely unthinkable that we win tomorrow and then who knows. Brighton away is tough, but we’ve been better away than we have at home this season so I’m not sure being away is a particular disadvantage.

But what you’re saying without the blue tinted glasses on is we’ve not actually even won 1 of the 5 winnable games. It’s all about perspective but you’re looking at it from a very one sided point of view( although what you’ve said is factual). But it’s also factual to say in the 5 winnable games you talk of we’ve not won any of them.

Blimey surely you’re not talking to me of all people about bloody odds of all things. Me? Obviously I know it’s unlikely. And obviously I was being purposely OTT. I don’t think if we win tomorrow we win the FA Cup. I’m just saying we’re bang in with a shout. A far greater shout than any other time in my lifetime.

We are absolutely and rightfully 8th favourites. No denying that. We’re 8th favourites though. I can’t remember any season in my lifetime of us being in the top 12 let alone 8th for FA Cup favouritism We’re 2 games against Forest and Brighton away from Wembley. Let’s have some optimism lads. BELIEVE!

Forest are the highest team in the league remaining in the Cup but by beating them tomorrow we should then consider all others as beatable. I belive that's what you're saying and it makes perfect sense.
