Ugh, these injuries on 23:36 - Mar 3 with 1734 views | FrimleyBlue | Questions for the end of season you'd imagine. Not for us but for ashton and his season overview Why.. is it just luck. Poor training regime. Players not physically capable of for this level? Medical sign offs to soon? Etc Doesn't need to be a blame game....but surely for it to happen all season to such levels it's not just luck.. [Post edited 3 Mar 23:38]

My strong view is it is just luck. Runs of luck, good and bad, can last an awful lot longer than you’d think, as any card player will tell you. It is just our turn.

inclined to agree, looks like it's just one of those things. the injuries are too varied and this season is too much of an outlier to suggest serious problems with the medical team

Don't think it's much more than luck to some extent. Like, you can of course make the problems worse but sometimes it just hits you. Liverpool have had almost zero injuries this term, and massively benefitted. We did pretty similar last year(minus Hirst I think) and benefitted like wise.

Ugh, these injuries on 00:06 - Mar 4 with 1543 views | ArnieM | If McKenna and his coaches are persisting with this reported high intensity, eye balls out training sessions then they want shooting. Because that will be why we are picking up so many injuries, notably hamstring injuries. The body will break down if persistently overloaded.

its the physical demands of the Premier league, I dont think theres any great mystery to it. Im sure I saw a stat last week that someone had broken the distance record for the distance covered in a premier league game, which was something like 13.2km, which is 8.2miles. but thats 8.2 miles in 90mins, they recommend a good jogging pace to aim for is usually 10mins per mile, and that doesnt include sprinting and twisting/turning or playing football at the same time. try running a round a full sized football pitch for 90mins, then try doing it playing against the likes of Mo Salah, Alf-Inge Haaland, then try doing it every week.

Hmm, maybe, but since Sitocastro posed the question in another thread - https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/head-bristol-citys-me Could just be coincidence of course. No doubt the rigours of the Prem make a difference, but situation may not be down to just that and/or luck.

10 mins per mile isn’t really a good jogging pace…

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-14451183/The-real-truth-injur 100 Hamstring Injuries this season alone. Not sure it's unique to McKenna's training methods.

Ugh, these injuries on 12:23 - Mar 4 with 771 views | Exiled2Surrey | I think I might be a bit behind the curve on these because I keep seeing references to more injuries last night, but no specifics. Has there been an update on Sammie, Connor, Axel, Burgess, Hutch, Philips others?
