No Chance they offer him the job. I doubt he's in the top 10 they'd be after.

Zero chance of that this season. Thomas Frank is already lined up. I'd heard that Justin Cochrane will step up at Brentford.

Would kill his career if he went there, they will lose their two best players this summer

To be honest I had enough of this boll**ks last summer if they do want him and I'm not convinced they do it's either yes or no, no dithering about and I mean Brentford not Spurs.

While McKenna achieved 2 successive promotions, we spend more money than the other 2 promoted clubs & did little better last season. I'm not sure most PL club fans, especially the likes of Spurs, will be clamouring to appoint him.

No chance is McKenna offered Spurs now. Thomas Frank has been linked strongly with that job for weeks.

Brentford have been rumoured to be looking at McKenna which might be a problem. McKenna however has been very strong in saying he’s staying here. I know that means nothing in the scheme of things but he’s going to look pretty stupid if he goes now.

I think McKenna is here for the coming season, after that who knows!

I think he'd go to Brentford.

Given the increasingly unbridgable gap of finances, we'd take 5 years to be established in the prem. Best case scenario.

I know that was then, but it could be again..

Spurs take 5 weeks to appoint Frank, Glasner or The Bournemouth fella and then either of those take 4 weeks to appoint KM. Hope it doesn't mess up our pre-season plans........again.

Spurs have Champions League football next season, so chance they go for McKenna.
If he leaves for Brentford or ANO, so be it. We have massive backing and would be a very attractive job, should we need to look elsewhere.

Have to agree all the shananagains last year with KM put us on the back foot for player purchases and I don't want the same happening this year.

If he goes, goodbye and thanks. Get a new man in and new players to get us back into the prem again or at least in the okay offs.

I am going to presume Town / Ashton already know McKennas intentions should particular scenarios play out.

I'm confident he's staying unless a big club comes in for him, which would be unlikely given the season just gone.

It's rumoured to be about £6m after negotiations last summer. That's quite high for a manager - clubs have to think twice about paying that as unlike spending on players there is no recouping that fee from a sale

Define big?

I think if any PL team comes in for him now that he’d go.

Why would it? He's just lost 9 games in a row and is back at the second level. Brentford are very established and a big part of that success is this kind of player trading and reinvestment. You might not want him to leave but there is no evidence it would kill his career, they are clearly doing something right over there.

Chelsea, United, Spurs, Everton etc

Traditionally big clubs irrespective of current performance.

Not much upside joining a Brentford / Bournemouth from where they are, I don't think he will... but it is a possibility I guess.

The standard of coaches in the Prem is high all round and there is not much between them. The factors that influence a clubs position are
arguably only 20% to do with the coach.

If our investors are committed we are in a strong position and a very good proposition for any promising manager.

The club is still very much joined up, despite relegation. Look at Leicester and Southampton sacking managers, none of that here, strong foundations have been laid.

That's nonsense really! Loads of upside, established and clearly bridged the gap to be knocking on the door of expanded European football. Not to mention money and a stepping stone to an even bigger gig if you have success in the best division in Europe.
