I mean "we" as in the supporters. You're accusing us of dothing our caps, I'd like to know in what way we've done that and what should we have done instead.

They have very little actual effect in real terms. Appeasing them is basically just a pr exercise now and can be ignored on the stuff they really don't want to change. It's just a billionaires corporate playground.

Sadly, I think you are right. A billionaire corporate playground. I noticed last time around the number of ‘tourists’ following Chelsea and Spurs (I rarely walk round the ground these days so there may have been other examples) probably on expensive packages. The demographics of who goes to top level football has and is changing. As for price rises, the cost per game in true terms has risen considerably. From a personal financial standpoint, it’s of no concern but there’s always a price point for everything. At the moment, I still think the aged crusty price i pay is reasonable for top level sport. All forms of entertainment are ridiculously expensive. What is a concern to me is the pricing out of supporters and families over the long term. I get that demand exceeds supply so you can price out people for no loss to revenues but this is not right, not healthy for the game or for clubs - especially clubs like this. I’ll be interested to see how costs compare across clubs but as a general feeling I’ve always wondered why pricing isn’t more controlled across the board by the EPL, EFL with say price caps. Would that work? No idea. Just thoughts. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

The price of a ST at Ipswich is considerably lower I believe than most PL and Championship clubs, well it is for my seat/. £466 for me and £136 for the small. I pay monthly and it isn't really noticeable. As an aside its £320 for a ST at Braintree Town

Nice sentiment, but that just not true is it? Maybe on an absolute personal level for yourself and good on you, but the higher we are in the pyramid the more people attend. And league Cup games against league two sides get considerably less supporters going. Just a fact. I think a few more people would want tickets for a champions League semi vs a third round league Cup tie vs Bromley.
